Gabi Finlayson
SENIOR PARTNER
Gabi Finlayson is a seasoned communications strategist with extensive experience in strategic messaging, campaign management, and brand development for political candidates, advocacy groups, and private sector clients. She began her career in Utah before joining Pete Buttigieg’s presidential team in Iowa and later served as New Hampshire Youth Organizing Director for President Biden’s 2020 General Election campaign.
After the Biden campaign, Gabi brought her expertise to New England, managing a Boston mayoral race and a state Senate special election that resulted in the historic election of the first Black woman to the Massachusetts State Senate. Her success led to her appointment as the youngest legislative Chief of Staff in modern Massachusetts history, where she sharpened her skills in policy-driven communication.
Returning to Utah, Gabi co-founded Elevate Strategies, specializing in values-driven communication and branding. She works with clients to craft authentic messaging, execute targeted outreach, and enhance corporate and campaign strategies. Gabi is dedicated to connecting her clients with their audiences and driving meaningful results across political and corporate landscapes.
Jackie Morgan

Jackie Morgan is a strategist with over 12 years of experience crafting strategic messaging, managing campaigns, and executing public outreach initiatives for political and corporate clients. In Utah, she has served as Deputy Communications Director for the Mike Weinholtz for Governor campaign, Volunteer Director for the Better Boundaries ballot initiative, and Campaign Manager or Senior Advisor for more than 25 local candidates. Nationally, she worked as National Campaigns Director at Stand for Children, where she led efforts to advance educational equity, including securing the passage of Arizona’s Proposition 208, which generated $827 million in education funding.
Jackie’s career has also included time in New York City with a D.C.-based consulting firm, where she developed strategic communications strategies for corporate clients and public outreach initiatives. Her expertise in media relations, voter targeting, and research-driven persuasion tactics has shaped key victories across both political and corporate landscapes. Whether advising candidates, advocacy groups, or businesses, Jackie is committed to delivering innovative communications solutions that resonate with audiences and drive meaningful impact.
Ben Haynes
SENIOR PARTNER
Ben Haynes is a seasoned communications strategist with 17 years of experience crafting impactful messaging, managing media relations, and leading strategic outreach for political campaigns and public organizations. He served as Communications Director for the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office for five years, where his work generated over $2.1 million in earned media and secured near-daily coverage through strong relationships with reporters.
Ben began his career with the Count My Vote ballot initiative and went on to work for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign across five states, including leading efforts in one of the country’s most competitive battleground counties during the 2016 election. Known for his expertise in earned media strategy, volunteer engagement, and coalition building, Ben has also helped re-elect the first Indian-born District Attorney in the U.S. three times, ensuring clear, compelling messaging to connect with diverse audiences.
With a proven track record of executing hundreds of successful media events and crafting narratives that resonate, Ben is widely regarded as one of Utah’s top communications strategists. Whether working with campaigns, advocacy groups, or public organizations, he is dedicated to delivering strategies that amplify voices, build trust, and drive meaningful results.
Tia Jochimsen
OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Tia is originally from Wisconsin but ventured to Utah to attend Weber State University, graduating with a degree in Communication. After hopping between the two states, Tia landed back in Utah to continue admiring the mountains and finally learning to ski. Tia brings experience in operations and logistics to Elevate, and she’s dedicated to prioritizing client relationships and ensuring overall team efficiency. When Tia isn’t staring at Google Calendar or immersed in email follow-ups and miscellaneous tasks, you can find her wrapped in a blanket watching reality shows, and planning her next adventure with her partner, Joseph.
Ben Anderson
COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR
A born and raised Utahn, Ben grew up in Logan and graduated from Weber State with a political science degree. He has more than half a decade of experience planning and executing strategic communications for organizations from the local to the statewide level, and he is passionate about telling stories and breaking through the noise with a targeted message. He also specializes in digital strategy, branding, and graphic design. In his free time, he enjoys music (mostly Taylor Swift), spending time in nature, and playing with his dog, Finley.
